Returns & right of withdrawal

You have the statutory right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. This period expires 14 days after the day on which you — or a third party designated by you (not the carrier) — took physical possession of the product.

How to register a return

Before the end of the period, let us know that you are withdrawing from the purchase by means of an unambiguous statement, for example by e-mail to info@fietsproof.com. You may use this model form for that purpose (not mandatory):

"To FietsProof — I hereby withdraw from the contract for the sale of: [product description]. Ordered on / received on: [date]. Name, address and date."

Sending it back

Send the product back to us no later than 14 days after your withdrawal. After you register your return, you will receive the return address and the instructions by e-mail. The direct cost of the return shipment is at your expense. Where possible, return the product in its original condition and packaging.

Refund

We will refund all payments we have received from you, including the shipping costs of the cheapest standard delivery, no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your withdrawal. We use the same means of payment as for your order; this costs you nothing extra. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back, or until you have demonstrated that you have returned it.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

Faulty or wrongly delivered?

Did a product arrive damaged, defective or not as described? E-mail us at info@fietsproof.com. You will then receive a replacement product free of charge or your money back, in accordance with your statutory rights (conformity under Dutch consumer law).
